    Our drop-in play programs offer families the opportunity to have fun and interact through different play areas such as water, sand, blocks, music, art and dramatic play center. All areas encourage children to explore and create with different materials and we ask that parents follow their child’s lead. The west side has an outdoor play space so dress for the weather! Great for families with children under 6.

    Play is so important for the early years.  It is important for healthy brain development and helps very young children engage and interact in the world around them. Regular play reduces anxiety, stress and boosts joy and self-esteem.     Come enjoy the best Lethbridge's culinary scene has to offer at Nikka Yuko Food Truck Friday. The event features local food vendors offering a wide variety of delicious treats for the whole family. Every Friday between May 17th and September 13th (except June 21st & July 19th) the event will be hosted from 12-8PM in the Nikka Yuko Parking Lot.

  • Arts Days - People in the Window Celebration September 13, 2024

    Join us on Rotary Square at Casa, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of David Hoffos’s piece “People in the Window”. This inconspicuous piece of public art often goes unnoticed, yet the impact of the artwork has been felt by many who have unveiled and marvelled in it’s genius. Come out to celebrate David and his remarkable piece of art, enjoy live music by ADEQUATE, grab a drink from the AAC bar, and a pizza from Art & Craft Pizza. It’s sure to be a night to remember!

     

  • Me & My Dad September 14, 2024

    Alll fathers, uncles, grandfathers and male caregivers are invited to attend this play group with their children. Activities will focus on helping male caregivers connect with their children in a fun yet supportive environment. A facilitator is on hand to provide important information and resources upon request. Simple snack is provided. This program is open to children under the age of 12, although we have seen teenagers join in the fun!

  • Inclusive Christian Open Table Worship September 15, 2024

    Join us 3rd Sundays of the month as we gather in a circle in the LPL Theatre Gallery (use shipping doors) to sing and pray, share stories and silence with a welcoming community and woman pastor. 2+LGBTQIA inclusive, inclusive language, nature slides with lyrics.   • Seniors Tour & Tea September 17, 2024

    Seniors (65+) are welcome at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery Maansiksikaitsitapiitsinikssin on select Tuesdays this summer from 10 - 11:30 a.m. for a free guided tour, art activity, and refreshments.
