Expansion of Lethbridge water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, Highway 3 bridge and interchange improvements plus continued collaboration on physician recruitment will be the top advocacy items this week for Lethbridge City Council.

The City of Lethbridge is proud to partner with the Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club as they welcome hockey fans to a night of Indigenous cultural celebration this Friday, September 27.

Throughout the summer months, the City’s Encampment Response Team (ERT) has been busy responding to calls and providing outreach services for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. On Tuesday, Lethbridge City Council received the latest update on the City of Lethbridge’s Encampment Strategy – which recaps the June 14 to August 26 reporting period.

The City of Lethbridge is removing two unauthorized structures in the River Valley. One structure is in Botterill Bottom Park, the other is in the Lethbridge Nature Reserve. The removals come after environmental experts determined the structures are harming the environment.
