Preparations are already underway for the next municipal election, scheduled for October 20, 2025. We invited all current Council members to share their thoughts on the first three years of this term. In the coming weeks, we’ll share their insights and priorities as we look toward the next election.
We begin with Councillor Mark Campbell, who was first elected to Council in 2017 and won a second term in 2021.

Lethbridge’s Civic Culture Plan prioritizes the role of culture in advancing Lethbridge as an inclusive, innovative and sustainable community. The plan revolves around three key outcomes: dismantling barriers, fostering connections and prioritizing diversity. It integrates input from 400 community members and more than 65 local organizations.
It was the last major conflict between First Nations in Canada. And now, an Indigenous-led initiative will provide heritage management direction to the site of the Battle of the Belly River.

The City of Lethbridge is excited to partner with Lethbridge Polytechnic during Coulee Fest, the institution’s annual end-of-summer party which runs this Saturday, September 14, from noon to 5 p.m.
As Labour Day is set to usher in the unofficial end of summer, one group of local students is already reminiscing about a memorable trip earlier this season. Five students aged 14-16 recently completed the 57th Saint-Laurent exchange. A delegation from Saint-Laurent, Quebec, first travelled to Lethbridge from July 10–17, followed by the Lethbridge delegation travelling to Saint-Laurent from August 7–14.

Since Heritage Day 2023 a year ago, we have been featuring a series of social media posts to showcase all of Lethbridge’s Municipal Historic Resources. With Heritage Day 2024 on Monday, August 5, the final entry was posted this morning – thus completing the series.
