    Lethbridge City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to allocate $15,000 from Council Contingencies for a refreshed marketing and recruitment campaign in partnership with Alberta Health Services South Zone, Chinook Primary Care Network, Economic Development Lethbridge, and other community partners.

    City Council approves updates to Encampment Strategy

    In partnership with Lethbridge Police Service and the Watch Program, a new outreach model will provide an enhanced service for the vulnerable population as well as the community at large. This addition is one of the amendments included in the 2024 Strategic Updates and Encampment Strategy 2023 Year in Review that Lethbridge City Council on Tuesday approved unanimously.

    Municipal and Provincial financial support paves way for new housing project in Lethbridge

    Collaborative funding support from the Province of Alberta and the City of Lethbridge has led to a project that will soon bring 50 new housing units to the city.

The City is working to proactively address these concerns with the development of the Water Conservation Plan and Strategy (WCPAS). The WCPAS was presented at the April 11 Economic and Finance Standing Policy Committee meeting.

On April 25 at Lethbridge City Hall, City Clerk Bonnie Hilford will host an introductory session for those who have no or very limited knowledge of Municipal Government.
