You do not have to wait until Monday, October 20, to vote in the 2025 Lethbridge Municipal and School Election. Your vote from Wednesday through Saturday this week counts just the same – and you won’t face anticipated lines on the final day.

Lethbridge residents can now head to a voting station to cast their ballot

Residents can now start making plans to mark their ballots during the Voting Period set for October 8-20.

Lethbridge voters will start heading to the polls in just 15 days, with the voting period for the 2025 Lethbridge Municipal and School Election set to take place October 8-20. 

While the days are getting shorter with autumn officially starting next week, I want to begin by looking back at some of the late summer events in Lethbridge.

Highlights from the September 16, 2025, meeting of Lethbridge City Council

Throughout the past several months, the City’s Planning and Design department has connected with thousands of residents through a variety of outreach activities. These activities were guided by an engagement plan approved and supported by City Council.  

Lethbridge residents wanting to make a difference in their community are encouraged to apply to be on one of City Council’s Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs). A recruitment campaign for a variety of positions is now underway and applications will be open until October 24 – to coincide with the 2025 Municipal Election.

The City of Lethbridge is looking to hire several hundred workers to help conduct its 2025 Municipal and School Elections, set for October 8-20.
