Tax Certificates

Prepayment of Tax Certificates is required at a cost of $39.00. Information provided includes:

  • Roll number
  • Legal Address
  • Linc
  • Civic Address
  • Current Year Assessment
  • Most recent tax levy
  • Property Taxes owing or credit balance on account
  • Status of TIPP program if applicable

For assistance in identifying the correct property, please use the Property Information WebMAP.

There are two options for ordering Tax Certificates:

  1. Online through Lethbridge.ca/mycity. If you already have a login and password set up with the City of Lethbridge Tax Department, please login using the portal to obtain Tax Certificates and make a payment. If you are not currently set up with an online account and require Tax Certificates frequently, please contact our office at 403-320-3111.
  2. By contacting our office for payment instructions. Once payment is applied by you online using a credit card, the Tax Department will create and provide a Tax Certificate to you by email.
