What Happens When You Don't Pay Your Taxes
We're here to help
We understand that it can be difficult to pay off financial debts. If property taxes are left unpaid, you may leave yourself at risk of losing your home. If you find yourself in a situation where you don't know how you are going to pay your taxes, please contact us. We are available to talk about possible solutions to your property tax debts.
Our Tax Arrears Payment Plan (TAPP) is a monthly payment option to help you pay down debts. After successfully completing the program, we will reduce the penalty amount owing by half. Please contact 311 or email tax@lethbridge.ca to discuss if this program works for you.
If you have already enrolled in the TAPP program, we thank you for your commitment.
