Transportation Planning and Projects
Transportation at the City of Lethbridge delivers a number of services including identifying strategic improvement opportunities, assessing transportation needs that focus on implementing the Transportation Master Plan, and developing leading-edge policies on major transportation initiatives in the City.
Transportation Planning works with Planning and Development Services Department in the preparation of Municipal Development Plans (MDP), Urbanization Plans, Area Structure Plans (ASP), and Outline Plans. We also provide transportation comments and inputs to the Planning and Development Services Department on major development projects. Typically a Traffic Impact Study is required for the ASP, Outline Plan and Development Applications.
