    Get ready to spray, splash and smile!

    With hotter temperatures on the horizon, the City of Lethbridge is ready to offer some cool support. Splash season kicks off on Friday, May 23, at 12 p.m.

  • Pothole patching season is heating up

    As the weather heats up, road construction season follows suit.  

    The City of Lethbridge’s Transportation Operations department has been completing minor road repairs since mid-April. With outdoor temperatures warming up, those efforts are moving into high gear. 

  • City reminds residents to sign up for e-billing amid possible postal strike

    Due to the possibility of a strike at Canada Post, Lethbridge residents are encouraged to register for e-billing for their utility bills. This will ensure residents receive their bills on time, should there be a disruption in mail delivery. 

  • Zone 13 Residential Parking Permits up for renewal

    For those living in Residential Parking Permit (RPP) area of Zone 13, your permits are due for their annual renewal. Permits for Zone 13 – areas near Chinook Regional Hospital and the Coast Lethbridge Hotel & Event Centre – expire June 1, so those residents can now renew to avoid parking violations.  

  • 2025 Victoria Day Service Level Changes

    Monday, May 19, is Victoria Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

  • River Valley fire ban lifted

    The River Valley Fire Ban in Lethbridge has been lifted, effective immediately. Recent changes in weather conditions, including higher humidity levels, have reduced the fire risk in this area. 

  • Construction season continues in north Lethbridge

    Two water-related projects, on 13 Street North and 5 Avenue North, may impact northside commuters. 

  • Closed door makes a big difference in Lethbridge house fire

    A closed door helped contain a house fire in south Lethbridge.

    Fire crews from three stations responded to the 1800 block of 18 Street South at around 2:10 p.m. Monday. 

  • River use advisory near Peenaquim Dog Park

    The City is advising residents to exercise caution when using the river near Peenaquim Dog Park over the next 24 hours. 

  • 2025 Property Tax Notices being mailed out this week

    This year’s Property Tax Notices are set to be sent out on Tuesday, May 13.
