Leading Pedestrian Intervals (LPI), also known as a Pedestrian Head Start Signal, provide advanced walk signals allowing pedestrians to begin to cross the street before vehicles get a green signal.

  • Northside office fire under investigation

    An investigation is underway into a commercial fire in north Lethbridge. Just after 11:40 p.m. on Friday, October 4, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to an office building in the 1300 block of 33 Street North. Crews from four fire stations worked quickly to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading to adjacent properties. 

  • House fire at Cabot Landing West causes injuries

    An investigation continues into a west Lethbridge residential fire that left two people injured.

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) responded to a residential structure fire on Cabot Landing West on Friday, October 4 at approximately 4:33 p.m. Crews from four fire stations responded to the scene after neighbours heard smoke alarms and called 9-1-1.
