Road and Facility Closures

More sewer work is impacting traffic on the northside. 

Starting today, October 3, both directions of 13 Street North between 18 Avenue and 23 Avenue are closed and detours are in place. 

Tuesday, September 30, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

There will be additional impacts to traffic on Whoop-Up Drive early next week – but it will be during late evening and overnight hours and help lead to the re-opening of further lanes by mid-week. 

A storm sewer repair is impacting a small stretch of South Parkside Drive South.

The southbound lanes of 13 Street South between 9 Avenue and 10 Avenue will be closed for a watermain repair.  

The Crowsnest Trail Pathway will run from Mayor Magrath Drive South, near the intersection of 4th Avenue South, along the south side of the Crowsnest Trail (Hwy 3), and into the WT Hill Business Park area. Construction is expected to begin this week, and continue until late fall, and resume in spring of 2026. 

Safety and traffic flow remain the focus as the Whoop-Up Drive bridge rehabilitation project continues.

While sunny weather is still beaming down on us, the City of Lethbridge is getting ready for winter operations and asking snow route residents to prepare. Households who need Windrow Assistance Service are advised to call 311 before Friday, October 10 to sign up or renew subscription. 

Monday, September 1 is Labour Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.
