Road and Facility Closures

Residents and motorists are advised to take care driving along the northbound section of Mayor Magrath Drive as crews work to repair the traffic lights at the intersection of Crowsnest Trail.

Beginning tomorrow at 9 a.m. the eastbound and westbound inside lanes will be closed on Whoop-Up Drive, east of the Scenic Drive overpass for electrical work.

Effective immediately, 10 Avenue South will be closed between 16 Street South and 17 Street South so crews can complete an emergency sewer service repair. This work is expected to be completed by the end of the day, November 23, weather permitting.

Effective immediately, 13 Street South will be closed between 11 Avenue South and 13 Avenue South so crews can complete an emergency water main repair. This work is expected to be completed by end of day November 18, weather permitting.

Saturday, November 11, is Remembrance Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes on that day as well as on Monday, November 13.

Beginning tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. the westbound inside lane will be closed on Whoop Up Drive for sensor maintenance.

On Friday, October 20, crews will be working to repair a guardrail along Whoop Up Drive westbound under the Scenic Drive overpass.

On Thursday, October 19, crews will be working on the emergency gate on Whoop Up Drive. 

On Wednesday, October 18, 13 Street North will be closed between Grace Dainty Road and 40 Avenue so crews can complete utility work. This work is expected to be completed by end of day, weather permitting.

Please be advised that 6 Avenue South, at the intersection of 7 Street South, will be reduced to one lane for westbound traffic beginning on Thursday, October 12. This lane reduction is required in order to facilitate waterline renewal work. Crews will be working to have this filled and paved as quickly as possible.
