Residents who frequent one of the city’s most well-known restaurants will see a green reminder with their pizza this month.

The City of Lethbridge is hosting two open house events to help support residents with curbside organics information over the next week.

Oscar, Recyclesaurus Rex and The Bin-Credible Hulk are the new superheroes of the streets as City’s garbage, recycling and organic truck fleet have been named.

​Curbside organics is ready to roll as green carts have begun arriving at the City's Public Operations site. 

In early spring, the City of Lethbridge will be introducing curbside organics for houses that currently have black and blue cart collection. To help roll out the new program, we are looking for Lethbridge students to help name our waste, recycling and organic collection truck fleet. 

The City of Lethbridge is pressing play on a new way for residents to learn about the curbside organic program which rolls out next month.

​Recently there's been an increase in the number of needles found in blue recycling carts by staff at the Waste and Recycling Centre.

The City is relaunching Mandatory Recycling and introducing Mandatory Organics for businesses and organizations.
