Road and Facility Closures

Work on the west end of the Highway 3 bridge will impact westbound traffic today.

Monday, October 12, is Thanksgiving. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

Motorists using the Stafford Drive bridge above the CPKC rail lines, between downtown and the north side, will face lane reductions on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow, October 2, the outer lane of southbound Scenic Drive North, between 5 Avenue North and Crowsnest Trail, will be closed.

Wednesday, September 30, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

Road maintenance will close Bridge Drive West early next week.

Starting Wednesday, September 23, there will be a temporary three-way stop on University Drive, at the traffic lights just south of the bridge over Whoop-Up Drive.

To accommodate large machinery moving concrete up the ramp expansion, the off-ramp from southbound Scenic Drive onto Whoop-Up Drive will be temporarily closed for a couple of hours on Friday, September 18.

To accommodate an emergency repair, the busy downtown intersection at Scenic Drive South and 5 Avenue South will feature a temporary four-way stop on Wednesday, September 16. The work will take place from 9 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. The intersection will be set up as a four-way stop during this period.
