Road and Facility Closures

A small portion of 5 Avenue North is closed as crews perform new water service installation.

Traffic and pedestrian access along a portion of Stafford Drive South will be limited Saturday morning due to crane work.

Effective immediately, the northbound lanes in the 500 Block of Stafford Drive North are closed. 

Two-way traffic is being maintained in the southbound lanes of Stafford Drive, between 5 Avenue and 7 Avenue North. 

The 2026 Runner’s Soul Moonlight Run is taking place Saturday, March 21. Some roads and transit routes will be impacted.

Electric Utility work will impact afternoon traffic from eastbound Whoop-Up Drive to southbound Scenic Drive. 

Downtown excavation work is leading to minor delays for drivers and pedestrians this week.

A watermain repair has closed both westbound lanes in the 1200 block of 3 Avenue South, with two‑way traffic shifted into the eastbound lanes.

Temporary traffic changes are in place at the intersection of Mayor Magrath Drive and 32 Avenue South.

Emergency rail repairs will be taking place at the rail crossing of 3200 5 Avenue North from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, February 13.

An important project to replace the bridge coating system on the westbound section of Whoop-Up Drive Bridge across the Oldman River is anticipated to start in May and take several months to complete.
