  • Trail Tip Tuesday – Trail Etiquette

    Welcome back to Tuesday Trail Tips! This week, we’re diving into a super important topic: trail etiquette.

  • Residential Parking Permits up for renewal

    Those living in Residential Parking Permit (RPP) areas permits are due for their annual renewal. Permits for Zone 12 – the London Road area – expire May 1, so those residents can now renew to avoid parking violations.

  • Night construction on Crowsnest Trail (Highway 3) April 17 to July 31

    Nighttime construction will take place on Highway 3 in Lethbridge from April 17 to July 31, led by Ledcor Highways Ltd. on behalf of Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors. This is a Provincial highway project managed by the Province of Alberta, not the City of Lethbridge.

     

  • Expanding food truck access in 2025

    Let them eat cake! And burgers! And pizza! And ice cream! And let them do it more places!

    There are now five approved locations in Lethbridge where food trucks and mobile vending machines can set up on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Help first responders by staying clear of emergency scenes

    Following this weekend’s fire in the 1200 block of Pacific Circle West, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services reminds residents to stay clear from active emergency scenes.

    The City of Lethbridge Parks department is excited to introduce Tuesday Trail Tips. The weekly series shares useful tips and fun facts about Lethbridge’s trail and pathway network.

  • Fire engulfs two homes on Pacific Circle West

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to two residential structure fires in the 1200 block of Pacific Circle West on Saturday, April 14. 

    Twenty firefighters from five stations arrived to find both homes fully engulfed in flames. Crews worked in challenging wind conditions to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading beyond the two affected properties. 

  • Recipients announced for 2025 Re-Imagine Downtown Activation Grant

    Downtown Lethbridge comes alive in 2025!

    The Re-Imagine Downtown Activation Grant will support several events in the coming months.

  • LFES responded to grass fire near Water Treatment Plant

    On Friday, April 11, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services crews were dispatched to a 9-1-1 call reporting a grass fire near Scenic Drive and 4 Street South. 

    Three stations responded with a total of 18 firefighters. Crews acted quickly to get ahead of the fire and knock it down before it could cross Scenic Drive into a nearby residential area.
