Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, the intersection of College Drive South and 28 Avenue/Tudor Boulevard South will reopen as construction is complete on the new roundabout.

As part of the ongoing interchange improvement project, pedestrian access on the west side of Scenic Drive (adjacent to southbound vehicle traffic) and 4 Avenue South will face some temporary changes starting Tuesday, August 11.

An electrical utility installation will impact a section of 13 Street North, near Legacy Park, for two weeks.

A watermain repair is narrowing traffic flow along a one-block stretch of 5 Avenue North.

To accommodate traffic signal upgrades, the busy downtown intersection at Scenic Drive South and 4 Avenue South will feature a temporary four-way stop on Wednesday, August 5, and Thursday, August 6. 

Starting this morning at 9 a.m., our electric operations crews will be replacing two streetlights on Whoop-Up Drive, east of the Scenic Drive South overpass.  

Bridge work continues on 5 Avenue North under Scenic Drive North and Stafford Drive North, over the railway.

If you’re looking to access the Whoop-Up Drive pedestrian pathway via Scenic Drive South, some changes will be in effect for the next several weeks. 

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a residential structure fire in the 1100 block of Lakeview Drive South at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 30. 

As work in the northbound lanes wraps up today, work will restart early tomorrow morning, July 31, in the southbound lanes of the Scenic Drive North overpass above 5 Avenue North.
