  • Two planned power outages – March 18

    On Monday March 18, the City of Lethbridge will be completing two planned power outages along the back lane between Normandy Road South and Corvette Crescent South.

  • Road Closure Barrier
    Road Closure on 23 Street North from 26 Avenue to Meadowlark Boulevard

    Starting today Friday, March 15, 23 Street North from 26 Avenue to Meadowlark Boulevard will be closed in both directions due to a sewer service repair. This closure is expected to last until at least Monday, March 18.

     

  • Spring run-off impacts taste & odour to City’s water

    The City of Lethbridge wants to assure residents their water is safe to drink while noting they may notice a different flavour and smell over the next few weeks.

  • No injuries reported in north Lethbridge fire

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire at a single-family house along St. Christopher Place in North Lethbridge at 3:14 a.m. on Thursday, March 14.  

  • Lethbridge participating in national travel survey

    The City of Lethbridge is excited to partner with Dalhousie University as a participant in the Canada Travel Activity (CanTRAC) Survey.

  • Proposals now being accepted for Bowman Building leases

    The City of Lethbridge has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) to solicit proposals for not-for-profit organizations to lease the historic Bowman Building. A total of 11,300 available square feet includes offices, meeting rooms and flexible spaces, and can easily accommodate multiple organizations.

  • Planned power outage – March 9

    On Saturday March 9, the City of Lethbridge will be completing a planned power outage along 10 Avenue South between 8 Street and 10 Street South. The outage is expected to be in effect between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and affect approximately eight properties.

  • Lethbridge doesn't make the list for federal Housing Accelerator Fund Program

    The City of Lethbridge has been informed by the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) that the City’s application to the Housing Accelerator Fund Program was not successful.

  • No injuries reported in west Lethbridge garage fire

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a single-family house fire in the 400 Block of Highlands Boulevard West at approximately 1 a.m. on Monday, March 4.

  • Lethbridge/Saint-Laurent Student Exchange 2024

    Saint-Laurent, Quebec, is the official twin city of Lethbridge. The two communities entered into a formal city-to-city twinning arrangement in 1967 as part of a Canadian Centennial project to promote cultural and social relationships between Eastern and Western Canada. Exchanges occur annually, alternately involving seniors and students. In 2024, the City of Lethbridge and the Borough of Saint-Laurent will be hosting an exchange for youth 14–16 years of age as of January 1, 2024.
