A sewer service repair is impacting a small stretch of 13 Street North.

The City of Lethbridge is encouraging residents to connect with, care for and celebrate our beautiful local environment during Environment Week! 

As there are multiple projects underway on the city’s westside, residents may notice some traffic changes, heavy equipment, as well as the potential for loose soil to blow around.

Starting today, two consecutive projects on Whoop-Up Drive will affect eastbound and westbound commuters. 

The outer eastbound lane of the Whoop-Up Drive bridge will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4.

The City of Lethbridge and Lethbridge & District Exhibition are gearing up for a full day of Canada Day celebrations, with food trucks and main stage entertainment now confirmed.

Effective immediately and until further notice, a fire ban is in place on all open fires within the City of Lethbridge’s River Valley. 

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to reports of a vehicle fire behind a commercial property in the 1400 block of 2 Avenue South at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 25.

With the warmer weather all around us, and everything greening up nicely, we wanted to take this opportunity to provide a water update.

Commuters in Lethbridge will notice some new traffic calming features this spring. Traffic calming curbs and digital speed feedback signs have been installed on selected roadways throughout the city to help reduce driving speeds.

Two speed feedback signs will be installed on Whoop-Up Drive on Friday, May 23, 2025. Commuters can expect partial lane closures.
