    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fire at the 3000 block of 5 Avenue South at approximately 6:48 a.m. on Saturday, June 15.

    River valley fire ban lifted

    Effectively immediately, the River Valley Fire Ban in Lethbridge has been lifted. Recent changes in weather conditions, including rainfall and higher humidity levels, have significantly reduced the fire risk in this area. 

  • Paving to begin on University Drive

    Road improvement work continues along northbound University Drive West. Paving will begin the morning of Monday, June 17. The project stretches between McGill Boulevard and the Valley Road ramp.

  • 6 Street South Block Party Road Map
    Road Closures for Downtown Block Party Saturday

    To accommodate the second annual Lethbridge Block Party on Saturday, June 15, the following road closures will be in effect starting at 7 a.m. that day: 6 Street South between 3 Avenue and 4 Avenue; 3 Avenue South between 5 Street and 7 Street; and 4 Avenue South between 6 Street and 7 Street.

  • Lane closure on Whoop Up Drive

    Scheduled patching work will impact westbound traffic on Whoop Up Drive. The work begins Friday, June 14 at 9 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.

  • Patching work on 6 Avenue South

    Traffic will be impacted as crews complete patching work along a small stretch of 6 Avenue South.

    The project begins Thursday, June 13 at 9 a.m. Single-lane closures will be in effect in both directions between 10 Street and 11 Street South.
