With the recent stretch of cold weather, the City of Lethbridge Parks department and Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services are reminding residents to be safe around lakes, ponds and rivers.

As of 2 p.m. on Monday, December 1, the City of Lethbridge has deactivated snow routes, and on-street parking can resume.

The City of Lethbridge is moving forward with plans to construct a roundabout at the intersection of College Drive South and 28 Avenue/Tudor Boulevard South.  

Until further notice, the City has declared snow routes active.

Starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, all three lanes of westbound Whoop-Up Drive will re-open for the first time since early August.

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to two unrelated fires this past weekend. 

Have a great idea for an event or program to boost vibrancy in the Downtown? The 2026 Re-Imagine Downtown Activation Grant program is now open for applications, with $120,000 in funding available for successful applicants.

Starting at 9 a.m. Thursday, November 20, the south lane of westbound Whoop-Up Drive will start taking traffic while continuing repairs will temporarily close the middle westbound lane. This is the latest stage of the major repairs – which remain on schedule – under the Whoop-Up Drive bridge.
