The City of Lethbridge is introducing the neighbourhoods of Uplands/Blackwolf and the southern portion of Southgate Sixmile, into the Residential Speed Limit Pilot Project. The pilot project lowers residential speed limits to 40 km/h in three Lethbridge neighbourhoods.

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a house fire in the 800 block of 18 Street South just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7.

Beginning tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. the westbound inside lane will be closed on Whoop Up Drive for sensor maintenance.

Due to the change in the weather conditions, the Fire Ban has been lifted for the River Valley area effective immediately.

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a house on Mt. Burke Boulevard West at about 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 28.

On Friday, October 20, crews will be working to repair a guardrail along Whoop Up Drive westbound under the Scenic Drive overpass.

The City of Lethbridge Transportation team is beginning a functional planning study for the area around the Chinook Regional Hospital. 

We are seeking community feedback on this project to help identify issues and opportunities in the area, share future visioning of the area and to review and influence the options for the plan area.

Community asked to give feedback to inform new ENMAX Centre Master Plan. 

On Thursday, October 19, crews will be working on the emergency gate on Whoop Up Drive. 

On Wednesday, October 18, 13 Street North will be closed between Grace Dainty Road and 40 Avenue so crews can complete utility work. This work is expected to be completed by end of day, weather permitting.
