Just in time for the Thanksgiving long weekend, traffic flow will improve along Whoop-Up Drive, one of Lethbridge’s busiest roadways.

The City of Lethbridge is reminding snow route residents that Friday, October 10, is the final day to register for the Windrow Assistance Service (WAS).  

Lethbridge residents can now head to a voting station to cast their ballot

Traffic light repairs will impact a busy intersection in west Lethbridge.

A small portion of Walsh Drive West will close temporarily, as crews install new gas services in the area.

More sewer work is impacting traffic on the northside. 

Starting today, October 3, both directions of 13 Street North between 18 Avenue and 23 Avenue are closed and detours are in place. 

As the days get cooler and the leaves begin to fall, it’s the perfect time to cozy up and contact the City of Lethbridge to collect your leaves.

Tuesday, September 30, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

There will be additional impacts to traffic on Whoop-Up Drive early next week – but it will be during late evening and overnight hours and help lead to the re-opening of further lanes by mid-week. 

Due to the Canada Post strike, Lethbridge residents are encouraged to register for e-billing for their utility bills. This will ensure residents receive their bills on time.
