    A big change is coming to the traffic lights at the busy intersection of 13 Street North and 5 Avenue North.

    The City is introducing alternating left turn signals along 13 Street North. Currently, only northbound traffic has a left turn signal.

  • Streetlight repair closes inner lanes of Crowsnest Trail

    City crews are performing an emergency streetlight repair on Crowsnest Trail (Highway 3). 

    Work is taking place in the inner eastbound and westbound lanes just east of the Oldman River crossing. Traffic in both directions is flowing at a reduced speed in the outer lanes.

    Eight departments from the City of Lethbridge will be taking part in this year’s Home, Garden & Leisure Show running March 13-15 at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. 

  • Fire crews contain Westside residential fire

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) responded to a residential structure fire on Trent Road West at 12:55 a.m. on Sunday, March 9. 

    Crews from four stations were dispatched, with 25 firefighters responding. Upon arrival, they encountered heavy fire conditions and worked for approximately three hours to contain and fully extinguish the fire.

    The City of Lethbridge is warning the public about a payment scam where users receive a text message claiming they have an unpaid parking infraction.
