Ryan Wolfe, Councillor
Ryan is originally from Saskatoon but has called southern Alberta home for 25 years. Ryan and his wife Heather raised their two daughters in Coaldale and moved to Lethbridge about seven years ago.
Ryan earned his Bachelor's Degree from Athabasca University with a concentration in Political Economics. He has worked as a licensed Mortgage Broker for more than 15 years, and Heather is a gifted elementary school teacher.
Ryan believes deeply that Lethbridge is a wonderful city, and that the people that call this city home are truly our best asset. So many people work so hard to make this a great place to live and work and Ryan is excited to bring his passion and advocacy to City Council.
Ryan is pleased to combine his volunteer efforts with so many others and over the years has really enjoyed coaching various sports, volunteering with Scouts Canada, helping at the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen and serving in his church community.
Together, he and Heather enjoy travelling, time with friends and feel especially grateful to be so close to the mountains. He believes that Lethbridge's best days are yet to come and is grateful for this opportunity to play a small role in shaping the future of this great city.
Councillor Wolfe sits on the Audit Standing Policy Committee, the Assets and Infrastructure Standing Policy Committee, the Safety and Social Standing Policy Committee, as well as on the Lethbridge Police Commission and as a Council representative on the Inter-municipal Committee (City of Lethbridge and Lethbridge County).
