The Combative Sports Commission is responsible for regulating and governing combative sport bouts, contests and exhibitions held in the City of Lethbridge. This includes:

• Boxing
• Kickboxing
• Martial arts
• Wrestling

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all participants and spectators.

Hosting a Combative Sport Event

If you’re interested in hosting a combative sporting event in the City of Lethbridge, you will need proper permits and approvals. Submit a combative sport application and review the different waivers for participants, volunteers and officials.

Meetings

The Combative Sports Commission meets monthly in person with an option for participants to attend virtually on Microsoft Teams.

All meetings are open to the public. If you would like more information about an upcoming meeting, please email committee@lethbridge.ca or call 311.

The Committee may invite external experts to present information on a topic before them.

The Combative Sports Commission will govern each combat sporting event or exhibitions to ensure that all Lethbridge Combative Sports Commission Rules and Regulations are followed.
