Combative Sports Commission

The Combative Sports Commission is responsible for regulating and governing combative sport bouts, contests and exhibitions held in the City of Lethbridge. This includes:

Boxing
Kickboxing
Martial arts
Wrestling

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all participants and spectators.

If you are interested in hosting a combative sporting event in the City of Lethbridge you are required to submit one of the following applications:

Please review the Lethbridge Combative Sports Commission Rules and Regulations. It is the responsibility of the commission to ensure that all rules and regulations are followed.

Upcoming combative sports events can be found in our events calendar.

The Combative Sports Commission meets monthly in person with an option for participants to attend virtually on Microsoft Teams. If you would like more information about a part or upcoming meeting, contact committee@lethbridge.ca or call 311.

The Committee may invite external experts to present information on a specific topic.
