Governance Standing Policy Committee

The City of Lethbridge’s Governance Standing Policy Committee helps City Council fulfill its responsibilities relating to legislation and governance practices and frameworks by planning, developing and implementing strategies. These strategies ensure the City functions effectively and efficiently to support Council’s intentions, directions and expected outcomes, some of which may include:

  • Advocacy;
  • Inter-governmental relations;
  • Council policies;
  • Operational reviews; and
  • Performance indicators and measures.

Meetings

Meetings are conducted in-person and virtually through Microsoft Teams.
