Safety and Social Standing Policy Committee

The City of Lethbridge’s Safety and Social Standing Policy Committee makes recommendations to City Council regarding the planning, development and implementation of municipal strategies relating to:

  • Animal control
  • Community
  • Cultural
  • Emergency and protective services
  • Public safety
  • Regulatory services
  • Social
  • Other items coming from reporting committees

Meetings

Meetings are conducted in-person and virtually through Microsoft Teams.

Meeting Attendance and Appearing Before the SPC

All meetings are open to the public. If you would like more information contact the City Clerk's Office cityclerk@lethbridge.ca or 311.

If you would like to appear before the SPC on an existing agenda item or, if you would like to request to appear before the SPC with your own agenda item please click here for more information.

The committee may also invite experts from the community to present information on a topic before them.
