Jock Palmer Park
Jock Palmer Park is located just off Mayor Magrath Drive North (23rd street north), north of 5th Avenue. The park is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and is a welcoming spot for nature lovers with a variety of bird species commonly seen throughout the park.
The park is home to a vibrant and exciting playground designed for children of all ages. Features include a tall slide, spinners, net climbers and a toddler area. The playground is inclusive, offering accessible rubber surfacing, a communications board, cozy cocoon and other thoughtful elements that support inclusive play. Convenient seating is located nearby, allowing parents and caregivers to keep an eye on their little ones.
The park also features a paved pathway along the west side of the park which provides a scenic detour for those out for some fresh air and exercise. Jock Palmer also offers plenty of open green space along with a half basketball court.
