Chinook Tourist Park

Chinook Tourist Park is a large park on the corner of Mayor Magrath and Scenic Drive South. It is home to lovely mature trees, fantastic playground, fitness equipment and picnic area with public washrooms open from May- October. The ‘Wind Gauge’ was erected as part of the Lethbridge centennial celebrations and depicts Lethbridge as the windy city of southern Alberta. Interpretive signage in the park showcase points of interest regarding local history, attractions in Lethbridge and the surrounding area.

The playground features an exciting sea-faring theme, giving kids of all ages an inspiring area to climb, swing and sail off into adventures with boats, submarines and whales. Located near the playground and sheltered picnic area, fitness equipment has been installed to get your feet moving and heart pumping.

The park features a large parking lot suitable for RVs and trailers, as well as a sanitary dumping station for RV's and motorhomes' waste water.
