G.S. Lakie School Park

The G.S. Lakie Middle School field is comprised of open space and more open space. This school field is perfect for those looking for somewhere to play touch football, ultimate frisbee, or workout on a natural surface rather than concrete or pavement.

There is a sunken area to the south of the school surrounded by small hills that area great for beginner sledding as the hills aren’t to steep and are easy for parents to climb. There is also a small outdoor basketball court located behind the school and is perfect for those looking to improve their skills.

Impromptu play on sports fields is permitted as long as the field isn’t in use. Scheduled play on all sports fields must be pre-booked through Recreation and Culture.

Please note: dogs are not permitted on school or sports fields.
